An online travel agency with strong traffic but frustratingly low booking completion. Users were browsing but not buying.
The Challenge
The agency had invested heavily in paid traffic that was sending thousands of visitors to their site daily — but the booking funnel had too many friction points and no urgency mechanics. Cart abandonment was above 70%, and there was no recovery system in place.
Our Solution
We conducted a full conversion rate optimization audit and rebuilt the booking flow from the ground up. Simplified checkout from 8 steps to 3, added real-time availability scarcity indicators, implemented social proof (recent bookings, reviews), and built an abandoned-cart recovery sequence via email and SMS that converts 18% of abandoners.
